Rooted in the Mission and Teachings of the Orthodox Christian Faith
The Neighborhood Resilience Project Syracuse is an independent 501(c)(3) human services organization dedicated to transforming trauma-affected neighborhoods into resilient, healing communities. We partner broadly with civic institutions, not-for-profits, human- and social-service organizations, and faith communities across Greater Syracuse. This includes a foundational community relationship with Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church (OCA) in Tipperary Hill, from whom many of the Board members, staff, and volunteers receive pastoral support and spiritual direction. All of our programs, services, and outreach are offered unconditionally to all individuals regardless of faith, background, or affiliation.
His Eminence the Most Reverend Michael Dahulich, PhD, is an Archbishop of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA), serving in the Diocese of New York and New Jersey. Archbishop Michael serves as a member of the board and Spiritual Advisor of the Neighborhood Resilience Project Syracuse.
